Gistbook
Vectorless session atlas for Claude Code memory.
Gistbook now runs a vectorless session atlas on top of local Claude and Codex histories. The dashboard uses topographic token terrain, hoverable session cards, project treemaps, activity heatmaps, and in-browser resume routes instead of a hidden vector store.
Built around the same ideas surfaced in the two X references: a vectorless retrieval graph for durable context, and a rich session dashboard with terrain, hover cards, treemaps, heatmaps, and resume routes.
Terrain
3D token usage over time
Daily token totals are projected into an isometric terrain surface so activity spikes read as ridgelines instead of flat bars.
Gistbook RAG
Vectorless RAG
Ask the session atlas a question. Retrieval walks a PageIndex tree from summary nodes down to transcript leaves with no embeddings and no vector database.
Session cards
First and last prompts, hover to expand
Recent sessions across the full atlas. Click any card to resume that thread in-browser.
Treemap
Project footprint
Session-heavy projects occupy more space. Click a tile to scope the atlas.
Heatmap
Activity over the last three months
The flat heatmap complements the terrain view with a denser day-by-day read.
